- Payment data: processed directly by Shopify Payments, Tabby and Tamara — we never see or store your card numbers.
- Browsing data: pages visited, device type, country, used to improve the site experience.
- Marketing preferences: if you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email and consent date.
How we use your data
- To process your order, deliver it, and respond to support requests.
- To send you order confirmations, shipping updates and refund notifications.
- To send marketing emails — only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe in one click from any email.
- To detect and prevent fraud at checkout.
Who we share data with
We share the minimum required data with:
- Shopify — for order processing and storefront hosting.
- Couriers — for delivery (Aramex, DHL, local GCC partners).
- Tabby and Tamara — only if you choose installments at checkout.
We never sell, rent or trade your data with third parties for advertising.

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your personal data. Email hello@illumafilter.com with your request — we respond within 15 days.

Data retention
Order data is kept for 7 years to comply with UAE accounting regulations. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Browsing analytics are anonymised after 26 months.
